We’re kicking off our post-festival season on 29th July with the much-acclaimed documentary Diego Maradona by Asif Kapadia. Following that, on 5th August, we’re screening Happy as Lazzaro, a very moving and memorable film from Italy. On 12th August we’re pleased to have secured the documentary with a local connection – Apollo 11 is described by the Guardian as “one of the most astounding films about space ever made” and we’re hoping to present you with a special bonus treat with that film. Rafiki is a film from (but banned in) Kenya about forbidden love, that’s on 19th August and on the 27th we’re showing the gripping Styx about a lone yachtswoman who gets caught up in the migrant crisis.
